Frequently Asked Questions
Below are a series of the most frequently asked questions we receive regarding Roselea, if you have any questions that aren’t answered please feel free to call us on 0121 350 7100 or message us through the form on the contact page.
Our charges are dependent on the level of care we will be providing for you. This will be discussed when we have carried out your assessment. We are regarded as one of most cost effective providers of day care. We provide care 7 hours a day which is more than most other providers offer.
Fees are payable every 4 weeks by cheque or Standing Order if you are paying for our service privately or by Direct Payment. If you are funded by the Council, we invoice the Council directly.
We are able to offer transport within a 3 mile radius. However, as much as possible, we do try and encourage people to use alternative transport to maintain their independence. Your suitability for our transport will be assessed on a independent basis.
Alternative transport includes Ring and Ride, public transport (for those who are Travel Trained) or taxi. Providing your own transport will also mean that your day can be more flexible.
Simply by contacting us. You do not have to be a social worker to refer to our service. In fact most of our patrons approached us themselves to come to Roselea. We do also welcome enquiries from other professionals.
Whilst some people already have a Social Worker, we can always help you to make contact with the right department should you feel that you would benefit from their support.
Yes we do. There is a daily charge for this, but it also includes refreshments throughout the day. We cater for all dietary requirements. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch if you prefer.
Yes. However, our fees are charged at a daily rate and we are unable to give a reduction if you spend less time here. If you travel independently, you are free to choose when you arrive and go home.
Before you start with us you will be given a checklist of things that you will need to bring with you. We do not encourage people to bring valuable items to centre as our insurance does not cover patrons property.
